A proper rebuild, carrying everything you already have
You already have a site. It is slow, or awkward to get around, or it simply does not look like the business you have become. A redesign rebuilds it properly and brings everything you have built with it.
What Happens to Your Content
I migrate it. Your existing pages, text and images come across to the new site, so you are not retyping your own business from scratch.
If some of it would be better rewritten along the way, I will tell you which parts and why. That gets handled the same collaborative way a new site's copy does: you give me your version, I shape it, you tell me what I got wrong.
How Long It Takes
This one depends almost entirely on what is already there. A well-organized existing site carries across quickly. A tangled one can take longer to unpick than it would to build something fresh.
Rather than quote you a range that means nothing, I will look at what you have and give you a real timeline before anything starts.
What It Costs
Redesigns are quoted separately from new builds. Sometimes a redesign comes in under the cost of a new site, when your content and structure carry over cleanly. Sometimes it comes in over, when there is an older site to untangle first.
Either way, you get the number before any work begins.
Your Site Stays Up, and Your Email Keeps Working
This is the part people worry about most, so here it is plainly. I build your new site separately, on its own temporary address, and we only switch across once it is finished and you have signed off on it.
Your email is controlled by completely separate settings, and I do not touch them. It keeps running throughout. There is no window where your business is offline or unreachable.
