A website is not finished the day it launches. Maintenance keeps it secure, keeps it online, and keeps it worth the money you put into it.
What's Covered
Security updates to your site's code, regular backups, and uptime monitoring so a problem gets noticed before you hear about it from a customer.
On top of that, every week or two I send you a direct update on how the site is genuinely doing: how much traffic it is getting, and which pages people are actually visiting. Most maintenance at this price leaves that part out entirely, which means you are paying for a site and never finding out whether it works.
Changes and Edits
Content edits are billed hourly, at a rate we agree on before any work happens, so nothing arrives as a surprise on an invoice.
Adding or removing whole pages, or reworking how a page is laid out, is quoted as its own small project rather than absorbed into the monthly rate. That keeps the monthly price honest instead of padded to cover work that most months never need.
What Moves the Price
The monthly rate starts at $40 and moves with three things: whether I cover your domain registration, the hosting tier you want, and how much editing you need from month to month.
Sites are hosted on Render, which is fast, reliable, and does not go down quietly.
You Are Not Locked In
Your site's code is kept in a private repository with full version history. That means any change can be undone, so nothing about your site can be broken beyond repair or lost.
It also means your site is built on ordinary, standard tools rather than a closed platform only one person can touch. If you ever needed another developer to pick it up, they could. You are choosing to work with me, not trapped into it.
